Drive into the Harry's Hut Camping / Day use area.
That will get you past the open stretches. From there go north and theres a few landings and camping spots. Jump on the DNRM website for their maps which have distances on them (I think)

Have fun.

And I got pelican lice standing in the shallows. Don't forget the antihistamine and other creams for itches.

Park at Elanda Point early and paddle from there. This way you will miss the North Easter.

Explore as far up the river as you want to go and when you turn around and re-enter the lake the North Easter will be up and you can have a fun Downwinder back to Elanda.

If you take the eastern exit from the river via Lake Como you will be over on the north east corner of the main lake and will have a great run back with the wind.

Great fun. Look out for mozzies, snake and goannas that like people food.

ET.
