if your a member of the local longboard club,ask them to help under their insurance,might work,you can only get knocked back.

For the Barwon flat paddle you just need someone with a little experience to follow the last person down the river to make sure everyone is alright. I could volenteer as I will be last anyway!

To all those who have responded via the feedback page on my site including the people from QLD.

I have had serveral questions about what skill level you have to have to attend.

The answer is:

Everyone of all skill levels as well as those who have never paddled before, kids, wives, husbands, partners, grandmas, granddads and friends are definitely welcome!








These are my 3 daughters Kristiana 13, Shaynesha 10 and Niki (11111111) This many the ones are fingers = 8

They are the hosts for the day or so they tell me and will do the meet and greet in the car park!

Apparently Kristi is also Rich's Photographer media adviser and official enterage???? ( I wish she wouldnt talk so fast)


The purpose of the day is to have FUN FUN FUN FUN.

There will be some experienced paddlers on hand to provide help and suggestions and relate experiences both good and lessons learned I am sure.

I am doing a clinic on how to remove a Methane Paddle from nether regions once it is wedged there by a wave. (Not for the kids to watch)

If the people I have met from the site so far are any indication then it will be a total blast!

Come and enjoy some OG hospitality.

Kristi said something about sand castle sculptures and other things.

All the kids (big and little) are going to get a pic on the OG Groms page of the site to show thier friends at school they can SUP.

Special prize for the most creative sup flat water and surf move.

Ideas include: The cockroach, the Quaszimodo (Mickey Munoz) etc so think hard.

You just have to get the creative thinking caps on and practice.

I hear there will be Pirates riding sups on the day!!!!! arrrrrrrrrr.

Thanks so much to Matty from GSI and yourself for supporting the day thats awesome.

I have never seen any of the McTavish Sups so that will be really cool.

I heard a whisper that there may even be a 16ft flat water machine there on the day.

We have secured some live jackets and I have 4 gath helmets for the kids as well.

Nesha wanted to post the Vid so that other kids can see you can rip on a SUP.
