Taking off on a slightly overhead high wave, riding it at great speed to the bottom, digging your paddle in to the right slightly, to achieve a a quick cutback to the top of the fat A frames that are rolling through, so you can figure out your next big move.

This all has to takeplace on a warm glassy summer's day, when you are comfortable wearing boardies, 'cause the water temp is more than 20C, no one else is out and the conditions are oily.

Is there anything better?

yeh, Taking off on a slightly overhead high wave and riding it at great speed to the bottom, stalling, getting slotted for a magic moment in time and then driving of the bottom with a massive smile on the dial .

Yep there are better things but not on a sup eg mtbing ignore the first 30secs nobsville, after that the riding is worth the effort.

Big plus about mtb is no worry about swell wind or crowds. Always 6ft and offshore
