Hi gang,

Starting to get the racing bug & am looking in to some races coming up like the Manly Wharfe to Bridge.

Reading through the event info & read that PFD vests are compulsory. So which vests should I be looking at & why? Comfort, fit, weight, prices & where to get them, etc.

Thanx

Forget the rest and take a drive over the bridge to Oceanpaddler at Manly. Dean Gardiner owns it and sponsors/organises the 'King of the Harbour' (see current thread). Personally, I look to support the shops that sponsor local events. Under the same roof as AA's shop Balmoral Paddlesurf.
I got my PDF from Oceanpaddler and I'm sure it will be well stocked and the best advice available as well.

You'll find the Ocean Paddler will work well for you. Have them in stock in your size right now. The XL has enough adjustment to suit you for sure.
Nice to be able to throw your bladder in the back of a PDF that won't chafe your pits paddling.
Sam.

This weekends race should be a cracker if you're keen. Nice forecast for ne winds should make the run to Manly from Collaroy easy, fast and heaps of fun.
Grab a vest before you race as it starts down the end of our street.
