Does anyone know if the 2014 Doctor race will still be compulsory to wear the actual PFD's Vest?? As last year it was compulsory for some but not for SUPWA members.

Can anyone shed any light on this for 2014?

This year inflatable PFD 1's will be acceptable for SUP's only, PROVIDED they are in good condition and are within date of certification.

There will be scrutineering on the day and if PFD's don't meet standards or have not been serviced when required, they will be rejected.

At King of the Cut last weekend a few PFD's did not pass and could not be used, so if in doubt have a back up.
