What direction should I head tomorrow - PRK or PL?

I get access to the car after 8:00am and need to be back in the city by latest 1:30pm - do I drive the 1 hour to PL later in the day for a rising tide or do I head out and drive 1.5 hours on that god awful road to Geelong. I haven't yet tried the Geelong bypass - is it worth it?

PL works best on a high tide which will be at 1:30pm PRK is best at low tide which is around 6:30am

I've got a dillema?

Phill

Been at Merimbula since last Saturday. No swell one foot only Been paddling around the boats in the inlet and also out the entrance. Not so easy with the current all over the place and strong winds, however, LOVE PSH boards.

Back next Wednesday. Can't believe it, leave Vic with bugger all swell for the past two months, come here to NSW.....no swell...jump onto Seabreeze and see Vic pumping. Can't win a trick

I love PSH boards and I went to Merimbula once. Did I tell anyone that I have a dead finger. Yeah.... I cut the end of it off with a spade while digging a root up. Jee it hurt.

I saw this guy today eating a biscuit on the train today - he had really bad breath

Sorry Pete thought I was on twitter - wrong text box I guess.

Here is the topic I posted - feel free to write whatever you want:

I knew they built the bypass, but haven't tried it myself and don't know how much shorter my journey would be. OG sup kindly told me in a PM (sorry Phil I hope you don't mind me sharing this) apparently it saves 10 minutes of the trip

thanks for your comments pete.

Hey Oli,

PRK will be too full by time you get there. Swell might drop a bit for Leo area but with your timing I rekon thats your best bet. The tide will be on your side.

I'm thinking Flinders area for Sunday morning dawny.

Just looked at the trigger cams, should be plenty of options on the rising tide at PL. Even get to sleep in - thanks Brendan.

I skipped the 2 + guys at PRK on Sunday morning and drove an extra five minutes to enjoy a winding 200m+ right hander with only me myself and I....
