Pacifica run handicap time trails every 2nd Friday Night out of Mona Vale Basin. Rego is 5pm for a 5.30 start. Always a heap of fun in a Nor'Easter as you get to creep out in the lee of the wind, along the rocks at the Southern End of the Basin and then enjoy a nice long downwind stretch to the South End of the Basin. There is also a little bommie wave in the middle which can make things interesting.
The course usually includes 3 or 4 circuits and should take around 30 minutes.
2 weeks ago we had 5 SUPs in the field with a pretty tight race the whole way around as most were on 12'6s. Hopefully we can double this figure tonight.
From memory, the entry fee was $10 and this included a BBQ and drink after the race. Great way to finish the work week...

Leaving work early so I can be there. Conditions are looking good. I've got a new board and a new paddle to test out against you guys (same old engine though).

We had a great turnout last night, and everyone had a ball a lot of new faces, Diamond Dave Kissane won the sup race on his Fanatic , I will try and post the full results and photos here later, and on Pacifica ocean paddlers on Facebook.
The next one is in 2 weeks.
