Today we had 15-20 people in our down-wind group on Paddle for the Planet day.. The run started with a light 15-20 knot winds but once we stopped at our half way point (Green Point) the wind really started to kick.. I'm guessing 30+ knots.

When we left Green Point I caught up with Warwick on his new red 14' Fanatic and he was flying.. I was on my 14' Glide.. When we got to the end a few of us couldn't resist doing another run.. This time I swapped my 14 for my 17' Glide.

Here's my vid from today.

Quite a few new faces for a downwinder, great to see. It was a terrific run for the last 4 or 5km. The second run must have been a cracker.

That was some sort of glide you got at 4.10. By my calculations, you went 25 seconds with just one little paddle stroke correction in the middle.
