Should you feel comfortable to paddle as hard as you can on your paddle or does there become a point where you go time to back off or I'll snap this puppy?

There are bigger and stronger dudes paddling out there than me. One I demoed today felt beaut and light but I had in the back of my head I reckon I'd break it if I put much more load on it! Big brand 12 month warranty...
A good quality paddle will be able to handle as much pressure as you are able to put on it during normal use. A good quality paddle will also be much more pleasurable to use. Like most things, you get what you pay for.
