How good is Saturday looking, it might not be a classic DW paddle but for EVERYONE to have a go at a super fun race it is perfect!! If you have not entered and are waiting to see what the weather will do then I can tell you it will be a magic Gold Coast(full stop) day so save yourself some money and enter now!
I see about 80 people training just on currumbin creek in the mornings so all those guys and girls have no excuses so we should see at least 100 to 150 people on the day all fighting it out for 2nd place.lol

There are a heap of battles that will be going on, I know Chris parker AKA Mr Supracer.com has got a grudge match with Steve the power house walker!!
Any other little battles out there? Maybe a few side line wages could be on the cards? I'll put a carton on steveo!! Anyone want to take me on on this?

As Jacko said, conditions should be perfect for everyone to have a go!

Wonder if we can get a record for girls racing in Aus? Last years Jetty to Jetty in Adelaide had 22 I think so come on QLD girls, I'm sure we can beat that on Saturday!!!

There should be a great battle going on upfront and I'm looking forward to seeing how it unwinds and if we get any surprises squeezing into the top 5 or 10!

I won't be filming it as I'll be busy with keeping track of timing and places but hopefully someone else will have the camera rolling.

Elite guys my $ are on jake jensen, he was flying the other day.

After that could name atleast 7 guys that could be in the top.

Gonna be great fun. Wish i could watch the finish haha.

Im tippin some of the top girls wont be too far behind

I hope alot of locals get behind this event otherwise we may not have it next year. Doesnt matter where u finish just be apart of it.

My tip is that Lacey will have to stop at 3-4 toilets on the way to Burleigh as he normally has 2 when he is at training.
Either that or he has one of Lance Armstrongs mates on a motorbike with some pointy bananas awaiting!!!!!!

Looks like its going to be perfect conditions for a 14'. Lacey's kidding himself if he's going to ride a 17 after training all year on a 14. He's not a chance I reckon
