It's so nice to see graphics on a board that don't look as if they have been designed by a pre-schooler with ADD who has been left in charge of the highlighting pens.

The Triggers, as you can see from the photo, are old school surfers. They've been making surfboards for a long time and they don't seem to have that tendency to need to change board designs and graphics 5 minutes after the last one is dry. I don't get excited by wave SUP designs, but this one looks outstanding.

I've been buying boards of trigger bros for years (&years). I even bought one of their wave jumping windsurfers. They're always happy to let you demo.

They have some handy surf cams on their website too!

Nice, but to nitpick a bit:
- adding center box(es) would enhance quite a bit of versatility to the board
- they should use a template to cut their pad symmetrically :-)

Phil's is going to be hard to beat in the Over 50's at the Aussie Titles on that. With Johnny Tackle also getting better with age - the Viccos will have a strong contingent in this division in October.

I think from memory Casso, Phil at the ripe young age of 63 was in both the open and over 50's at the Nationals, made in through just about all the way and did win a Go Pro camera prize for the surfing move of the day... Top effort by the seasoned campaigner

Asymmetric deck pads are now the go? They adjust the prismatic of the board for specific wave patterns. I heard that Kelly Slater / Kai Lenny / [insert name here] uses asymmetric deck pads.

This is a one-off custom board shaped and made by Phill for himself..

I'm surprised to even see a deck pad because most of his past boards just had a sugar deck..
