Here are a few photos of Windy Miller at metts and the two Simons at Toms taken this morning. We are having a spell of magic autumn weather at the moment and there are also a few waves around to keep the crowds happy.

Started out at Huzza's as the NE'er was up. It was a consitant shoulder to head high. Once the wind dropped i slid into a few solid one at South Pt but it was a bit full on to SUP IMHO. Just went back to Huzza's. So many waves. First time out with my Kiloa Shaka Pu'u. Its unreal

The shore line there is riddled with sharp coral DJ.
More interesting though are the columns of reef that are spotted through the entire area like a mine field.
You can wipe out in to deep water or you have the option of being impaled on a reef column.
Feer is reef spelled backwards!!
Nice wave though and good shots of "Metts" and "Toms' (the fin graveyard)

Nice one, good way to finish and avoids having to paddle in.

Drove past Toms on Wednesday, just 4 mals out: 3 guys in wetties & one girl in a bikini . It was onshore, getting stronger, bit cool, thought "she's brave, wonder if she can surf?" You bet your sweet beepy! Taking the rights on her back-hand (goofyfoot) she was ripping.
Saw her again at Cott on Friday, still in bikini (lots of guys in steamers, I had my shorty on) with a thin rashie, "bit cold" with strong French accent. Turns out she's from Reunion Island, very cute, I swear I could read the minds of most of the guys out there: "please drop in on me"

I have tried finding Metts (is it just out from the semi circle look out?) - also would be very much appreciated if you could point out where toms is. regards

We used to go to Watermans Beach (few hundred metres north of Toms) for school hols as my aunt had a house in Margaret St. Toms was named after a shop with that name opposite (a deli, or grocer, from memory. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong)

It must have been toms I was at the other day as Metts was a bit small and full and was not working (Toms is the next break north I assume) - copped MASSIVE agro from one surfer there, was keeping my distance and only taking open waves etc etc did not seem to matter. we should organise a SUP even there.

yep, thats why i've never botherd with toms,, i cant be stuffed with the agro from shotboarders there,, hello, it's Perth SLOP not pipeline,....

at least with mets theres no aggro from the longboarders ,,just a few envious stares ,i seem to find there is no surf ettiquette /rules here ,it's everyman for himself,, drop in cental - same as cottosloe.....

i think greeny has got a classic pic of mets with everyone going for the wave, inc me .......ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL ABOARDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
