Who's up for a bit of a fun sprint (9km) up Pittwater and back on Saturday?

A sunny day with very light to zero winds are predicted - perfect.

Check it out: www.harbourracing.org.au/events.asp

A few of the ACT boys are coming up for it so we can make it a bit of a state of origin challenge.

Sounds like a plan.

How's your new board looking. Was out of the shop before I had a chance to check it out.

Sam.

If you register online before 12 noon tomorrow (Friday 7 May 10) you'll save $10 on the entry fee.

www.registernow.com.au/secure/Register.aspx?ID=2619

But you can also just register, on site, on the morning of the event - for those that like to leave it until the last minute.

Hopefully the races they run next month will have a SUP catagory - they start a Winter Ocean race series out of Fishermans starting in June I'd be keen for.

Smokin looking board Casso love the colors, the nose looks very much like the epic ski at first look.

Have you been out of the board for a serious paddle yet in choppy stuff.

Are we getting a full blown Casso review?

It does look good, hey? I'm very happy with it - looks and performance.

Yeah, first time out was in some deep ocean stuff with lots of chop. Fell off a few times but still had a ball.

A full review should come to fruition soon-ish. Stay tuned.

Almost perfect conditions for a morning cruise. Still wound up with a bit of a headwind both ways which seems to be the norm for Sydney paddles. That also could be part to do with not paddling the right course though.

Congrats to the ACT guys for making the effort and coming up with an even bigger congrats to Rose for doing a 9km race on a 9'5" Mana. No way I'd try that.

Sam.
