Im planning a holiday to Port Doulgas later in the year and would love to do some surf and flat water paddling while away - does anyone know if paddle boards can be hired up there and best spots to go?

Cheers

Try this link. windswell.com.au

There is also a shop at Yorkeys Knob just north of Cairns that does rentals.
I think it's this place. www.kiterite.com.au/

I'm heading up there in September so let us know how you go.

Alan.

Hello JMD, you can hire boards from Chris @ Kite rite Yorkeys , we do regular paddles each week
and when the wind blows 25 to 30 knots we get a nice small wave coming through

I lived at Trinity Beach years ago and went down for my regular swim and sitting on the beach was a very large croc.I didnt go for many swims after that.
