Excellent wave. It seems very close to where I imagine Mr Chompy lives though.

Hey bo,it was better today bit straighter and more consintent. Had dolphins and a big mutha ray out there today.
Cranky snapped my legrope while we swapped boards and its a good distance to swim when ya loose ya board.
I dont feel sorry for him though he needs to toughen up some.
Hey cranky I find raisin toast, coffee and Lurve from from the wife does it for me.

I always keep a few nut bars in the car. Pringles sometimes as well and always lots of water. Its essential to drink lots of water in the tropics and i can drink up to 10L a day

Dont like to surf after lunch so its usually after breakfast or before dinner im in the water. If its the morning I'll try and have a big pasta meal the night before then sultana bran with yoghurt on top in the morning.

Always try and smash a coke before i paddle out then have a gatorade after i finish

this thread is a nutritionist's nightmare,apart from lobes breaky and brooko.a 300 mg dose of co-enzyme q10 is the best thing we have found.coke last about 5 minutes,redbull not much better chocy bars are just feel good,cut the sugar out of you diet and eat good.

I find the Up And Go's from Sanitarium which is the equivilant of 2 weetbix and milk in a popper type brick the best.They come in several flavours,chocalate strawberry banana & honey and vanilla.Check them out in the breakfast isle at your local supermarket.It would be hard to find to many nasties in weetbix,plus you get a bit of fibre along the way.
When I step outside in the morning I'm in too much of a hurry and still to sleepy to stop and eat a regular breakfast.
With the Up And Go's you can take one or more and have them on the way.I think Steph Gilmore promotes them as well.
Coke and Red Bull dont sustain you long enough for a good 3hr surf,plus there full of nasties.

I have seen alot of people using energy gels. Or gluco jelly beans (these are available in pharmacy)

Hey cranky. I did a full scientific test to get to the bottom of this problem.
1.In preperation I drank as much alcohol as I could last night.
2.Bacon eggs onion tomato and mushrooms for breakfast with a cold Mocha.
3. Macca's coffee thickshake while waiting for the wind to drop.
4. 2 hr SUP at the post for a few small waves in sloppy conditions.
5.Come home and take some of Elbeaus recommended magic elixer of the gods whille watching the sun go down.
6.Nice feed of oysters and tapas.
7.Go to bed and do it all again tommorrow.
I could get used to this. I cannot see anyone putting on weight while SUPn

I have found that Coke can really clear your sinuses.



And... Beer can really clear your vision..

That's alot of cokes and red bull for the cost of a 300mg dose though.

Toast...toast and bannanas...toast an avacado.....left over pasta on toast....more toast...coffee and water get a look in too
