Does anyone know who the stockists of QB are in Qld?
I believe SurfFX are on the Goldie but am hoping for somewhere further north.
Any hints are appreciated.

I got a reply of $150 for shipping to aus the box they package in fits 6 paddles. That's $25 for shipping each if there were 6 people from roughly the same area buying together that's a huge saving compared to instore in aus.. I do like to support local stores when ever buying anything but that's a pretty good deal could get two paddles for a little more than 1 here.. Surely buying six would lead to a discount also..

Great to see Quickblade supporting the local industry
I am also tempted at this pricing but at the end of the day I value the advice I get from my local store.
Had too many drama's with warranty dealing OS. I'll be buying local.

I bought QB kanaha Elite in OZ, snapped it, it was QB HQ overseas that sent me the replacement. . was not through the store. . . was not a lot of interest from the store. . .

I agree support the locals though. . . as long as they are interested in helping.......

Did some inquiring and sounds like Jmsup co have a good range and can get anything you want from QB in.. I'm pretty keen to look into the new slim jim range just need to decide if the 100sq blade or the newer 92sq blade is the go for me being 90kg and distance paddling.. Anyone have any advice there??

Last weekend I demoed a couple of Quickblades at Currimundi out of the Surftech trailer.
There was no Dogman to be seen, apparently he was chasing some pretty little poodles up around Mudjimba.

The guys at the shop there had no experience with the paddles so I thought I would ask you knowledgeable lot.
I tested a 110 square inch Kanaha Elite and also a 100 square inch Kanaha elite.

To my limited knowledge I couldn't see a lot of difference between either paddle. Sure the size is different, both were extremely light, had nice comfortable grips and they both entered the water beautifully.

I did get a really nice push from each paddle. So my query is which one do I buy?
I was going to go with the Kanaha with the 8.2 inch blade, but now I am thinking that I should go with the 8.7 inch. Do I go with the Elite or the basic Kanaha?
My paddling is generally a mix of ocean and semi flat water between 5 and 12 Kim's.

Any thoughts would be well appreciated.

Thanks heaps.
ET.

I had a shaft snap on me with the Kahana Elite the first time I had it out in surf, pushed down for the stroke and it snapped just about the paddle blade, gutted, called up Surf FX who advised me to send pics, which I did and they talked to QB and it was replaced and sent to me, absoultely stoked, I have another QB paddle that I use in the surf and its still going strong. :)
