I have a question for you..
I just ordered my first Race SUP! What should I expect from it in term of speed compare to a regular board for surfing?
Like when we go SUP here guys on bigger boards are faster then me on my 8'11 or 9'0 Wave board, we have about 1 km to paddle in flat water before the reef...
So I'm curious to know how much faster I would be on a 12'6 Race..
My faster board at the moment is a Jimmy Lewis 10'8 Hanalei!

Can quantify?
Example when we paddle out to the reef (about 1 km) and I'm on my JL 8'11 someone else on the JL 10'8 give me about 100 meters.. We paddling with the same rate so is pretty much all due to the gliding of the boards!
How a 12'6 full race will compare with a regular 10'8 or 11 feet...
Come on must be someone out there!!
