Im in Taupo at the moment and heading to waitoma and then to Raglan any of you kiwis know if they hire sups their?If not ill have hire a shortie .Ive seen one supper while over here right up the Coromandel near hot water beach.Honestly i dont know why so many Kiwis want to come to OZ this palce is beautifull , and so many great sup spots from awesome rivers to bays downwinders you name it.
Next trip ill be taking a blow up sup and hitting some of the rivers.
No idea what shop in Raglan wd do that. Have a look at Raglan surf co and maybe ask in at the Volcom store in the lane way behind it. I think that there is a bloke from Raglan who frequents this site so maybe he will see this and help you out with something a litttle more concrete.

there is a kite boarding shop next to volcom lane, they hire out sups, there shortest when i was there was a 9'6" up to about 11'6". Close to the river so you can just walk the board down there and paddle out to the ocean.
arrived back home , unfortunately couldnt get to Raglan.But had a great time in your country , spent 6 hours at snow world yesterday and today im paying for it.
Ill be back though and ill be hatching plans for a NZ surf and river sup tour.
