Got my PSH 10'6 re-gripped at Roar Ind. yesterday after dramas with the original grip(No fault of Roar ind.) Went with O+E deck pad plus O+E tail pad. Angie did a superb job, she has it down to an art. Cheers Guys.

Yeah Mac, Your board looks sweet. Welcome to the 10'6 wide club I'm running "Shapers" S-5 FG sides and a 6 1/2 inch centre fin. Check em out at Currumbin, got the whole set-up for less than the price ot a centre fin at the surf shops

Drewsta-I think from memory, you're a pretty hefty bloke-how does that board go in the waves?

I tried a 906WAA in the surf today (pretty windy and junky) and thought it wasn't so great for surfing-stiff and a lot of nose to swing around.

Was on a PSH 910 Ripper and found it HEAPS looser and smoother on the waves than the 906.

Hey loco, how heavy are you? I met your mate Jun last weekend and he was keen to demo a 9'3 ripper. I said he could try mine if he wanted to link up for a surf some time. Mothers day sort of got in the way today, so maybe next weekend. You can both have a paddle on it if ya like.

I tried the 9 6 AA and didn't like the wide nose either (coming form a short board).

Sorry to hijack topic Drewsta.

So that would be 3 boards done like that at Roar yesterday

I tested mine yesterday afternoon (despite the recommendation to leave it 24hrs...) and all worked a treat.

Yer Loco, hefty at 110 kegs. Mate, flat water paddled the PSH range and loved em all. Surf demoed the 9'6AA wide in wind blown over head and found it to be too big a drop from my 11'6 at that stage, Surfed awesome for a guy my size but. Settled on the 10'6AA wide and love it. Maybe harder for a lighter surfer to move around but surf great for me from 1 foot slop to clean 6+(comes into it's own in the more powerful waves )

Wow Aus, Wonderif they were all the same brand of grip?? I went over mine with the misses rolling pin Just to make sure its down hard.

I picked up a Naish 9'6" and had it all nicely gripped with an O&E Grip and Creatures tail pad. Done similar to Drewsta's pic. Stepped down from the 11'4" and definitely surprised myself yesterday with some of the waves to be had on it and the stability once I got the hang of it.

I had mine on the water about an hour after doing the grip with no problems so far... still stuck down well today.

Not sure about the sponsorship bit MAC...I heard I was not the only one considering the value of a board bag to hide the new toy.

Yeah no worries Mac. Might plug em here too. www.shapers.com.au Heaps of gear for shapers right through to the average punter. Check out their site cos you can order on-line too. I have some of their fins that are sweet and a 10ft leggie that cost me half what a surf shop charges but is made in the same factory, just different branding. Well worth a look or drop in and check em out if you're on the Goldie.

Goatman,

About 77-78kg.

I think Jun has already arranged one through Andrew A (good bloke there). Thanks for the offer-I might get a ride on Jun's or Casso's some time-swell all week so likely shortboarding.

Appreciate the offer.

Sorry Drew.

Checked their site-bloody good pricing-very fair.

Seen quite a few Shapers FCS compatible fins about on shortboards.
