Good evening all,
I recently ( last Thursday) purchased one of Blanes boards. Now i did my research and tried 13 different boards before I made the final choice.
I had heaps of help and advice from the guys on Seabrease and for that I am greatfull as I saved a lot of time and money.
Trust me when I say I am not going to the surfing Olympics, I am totaly Joe Average on an sup and my dimentions are 105kg and 6ft tall. I have just gone from a Laird 12'1 to a PSH 10'6 wide in one jump because on Blanes boards I can.
The value in the PSH (from experience) is the way it rides, its stability, its quality and its performance. I paid for and got the best and then some. I would have been happy to pay more for the board to get the smile on my face after Saturday morning and it was bad conditions closing out.
The fins supplied work really well, no questions asked, again I am talking from experience as I have surfed 3 of his boards with them in: 10'6 All Arounder, 10'6 Wide All Arounder, 11ft Wide All Arounder.
I surfed the 11 Wide in OH to OH x 1.5 with the origional fins and it rips.
I wonder whether any of the guys questioning the fins have even SUPED a PSH board with the supplied fins???
Blane your shapes ROCK and people that will appreciate your boards wont care about what fins come with them. The upgrade option is a smart thing, stick to your plan mate Aloha from down under!
Phill.
