Heaps of spots to suit anyone mr Loz.
At Caloundra, Happy Valley and Kings Beach are often good. happy Valley is popular with SUP's. there is also the flatwater that goes for miles from Bulcock Beach past Golden Beach and on south.
Just north, Moffats is a reef/point break that can get big and crowded but worth a look.
Around the corner is Dickies Beach that often has nice banks. This is the start of the Kawana stretch this beach goes north for about 15km and has heaps of access spots. There is often ridable banks in various spots on this stretch. As Anthony says Currimundi Lake is a pleasant flatwater paddle.
I won't go into spots further north, but if you want more info send me a pm and I will fill you in.
Most of all have fun.
