I reckon the first surf movie we've seen that has the crazy kind of SUP that Laird H and Dave K enjoy is in the movie "All Aboard the Crazy Train".
Its towards the end of the movie but is fairly extreme stuff.
Great movie, very interesting broad content done in a low-key way.

Cant help adding that my all-time favourite surf movie is Jack McCoys "Blue Horizon". Really interesting story about the opposite paths of a surfer like Andy Irons and Dave Rastovich. Killer soundtrack, superlative photography that is Mr McCoys trademark and a very soulful story line...how a super competitive surfer like Andy Irons and a soulsurfer like Dave Rasta although poles apart in attitude are really the same in their shared love of the ocean.
