Some real classic posts in here.

The thumb topic has been discussed many times, and each time crew have come out in favour of it. There's talk often talk of bannings, filterings, blockings .. but often it comes down to how confident you are about yourself.
Facts are that there are more posters now than ever before, in fact it's 30% busier than it was this same time last year.
With growth come new people & new ideas. Sometimes existing crew can feel like a stranger in what was once a place where they knew everybody.

If you're in a sour mood, don't read forums. You're more likely to read posts the way
you feel, rather than the way it was written.
My experience suggests this is the
single biggest cause of misunderstandings in forums. Misinterpretation of a post by somebody in a foul mood.
Have you experienced it?
