Well that was fun I love the maribynong there's always something new floating past you.The river can be sublime one moment and shizen Hausen the next.I accidentally said rowing club, the canoe club is a better launching place.

South is the scouts and north is a canoe/rowing club with a really nice launching jetty...
Picture traveling down towards highpoint shopping centre, hang a left immediatley prior to the bridge. There is a canoe club alongside a scouts hall, the canoe club is the best launch it is even better than the rowing club which is north of the bridge...
Ok I know where you are now. I've launched from the rowing club north of the river before and even further upstream beyond the footbridge (don't recommend this one as there's lots of sharp barnacles and stuff to destroy your board).
Just got back from the Maribynong, a top morning, beautiful conditions, and two really great blokes as company. Who might be up for another one next week?
