A couple of points if I may:
1. You appear to be standing too far back on your board. Toes should be roughly in line with the carry handle to start with. As you paddle faster and become more comfortable experiment with different feet positions.
2. Your paddle looks too short for what you are doing. Though it could be the photo angle. Should be somewhere between 8" & 10" above your head to start with and get comfortable.
Not being critical, however paddle length and stance can make a big difference to your enjoyment.
Nice board to start with too.
