Hi all,
I just thought I'd add my comments on the Naish 11'6" SUP. I hope everyone gets on with their comments on the boards they had ridden.
I found the Naish 11'6" very stable due to it's volume, but also very lively, it doesn't feel as big as it is. especially on a wave. It's rail to rail turns are unbelievable. This board paddles very fast adn will catch just about anything catchable. I have ridden it in well over head high conditions and found it handles the speed and holds in during carves on the bigger waves. In the smaller waves, this board really comes alive due to it's rocker, fast sweeping cut backs, and radical turn allow you perform floaters, bottom turns and cutbacks that you would be impressed doing on a conventional mal. The wood deck looks sick with the graphics, and the construction is light but very durable. I have ready had two prangs with other Sup surfers (friends messing around) and their is no damage to the board.
Basic conclusion, an excellent entry to intermediate board. Surfs really well, definatly a pick for someone looking for perfomance in the waves. Don't be put off by the thickness, you won't notice it in a bad way. all in all, a very impressive ride and great value for money.
regards,
JB
