When you go surfing with Revvin, Session, and Kristi, you just know your gonna have FUN! It could be dead flat and you will still have a ball.

These are some pics of Revvin on his 1st Mistress the Kalama last weekend.

These waves look great but really on an 11'6 Kalama it took skill to not get thrashed by continually pulling a rail as they were up and down in seconds.

This guy is stoked every day of his life and twice as much when his toes hit the water.

Lets hit it again soon Revven we love your stoke for life its infectious!

Phill, Kristi, Nesha and Niki

Revvin loves the Kiakaha paddle and I believe from what I have seen it certainly has improved his ability to catch waves.

We measured it up against the Methane and it appears to have a similar area to that of the Shaka Pu'u just a different shape.

When he gets his second mistress later this year, he is gonna rip

Thanks heaps for the photos.

Still having fun on the big Kalama, mucking around with the fins has loosened the big girl up for me and the new KiaKaha is awesome!!

I was spewin I missed the Bells session that afternoon, I reckon the 11'6 would have been a real handful there though.

After riding Phil's two PSH's I know what brand my next boards gonna be and I think my itch is around 18 inches so I'll have to be patient till November. By then hopefully I'll have lost about 5-10 kg's of wetsuit filling too.

DJ, I know your tonguing to try the KiaKaha, we'll hopefully catch up for a paddle soon.

Yeah Lobes I was being paddle and board caddy at OG13.

cheers

Kev.. Your new Kia Kaha paddle looks great.

You seem to be giving it some willy in that first pic.

How does it feel besides light.. Stiff ?.. Soft ?.. Springie ?

Did it feel less powerful at first?.. and how about now?

I'll catch up with you soon for another paddle with you.

DJ,

A little bit of flex but not too much (havent used many other paddles to compare).

I used to use the carbon nexxxt crow bar with the massive paddle blade. so took a bit of adjusting to the smaller blade. When getting the board going I have to do the short quick strokes, but once the board is going I can really dig the blade in and pull some big strokes.

heres a pic of my boys loving the Kalama and the Kiakaha.
