Hi all On Saturday I am Flying to South Africa to Stay and surf in the St Francis/ Jefferys Bay area. I will be armed with a 9'3 Naish and a Go Pro I just bought for the trip. So I will try to get some photos and travel stories on line as I go. I will be up on the west coast and out of internet range for the first 10 Days, But after that I will send back some Photo's etc. Hope the surf picks up back here as its been flat for ages. Todays surf forecast for Jbay is 3to5 feet at 12 secs hope it hangs in!! Rod
Get hold of "kingdom" who is in Cape Town - he will set you up with fellow SUP riders.
You should have a great time but tread lightly over there with your SUP. The locals will welcome you so long as you surf with respect (which is the same as everywhere).
It's the wrong time of year for JBay but you can get lucky in summer. I will never forget one session over there in Jan "82 with 8-10' perfection (9 hours).
