I saw a doco about guys who regularly surf this tidal wave. They filmed Picuruta Salazar and his longest wave was 43 minutes long. Think about that! That is staggering! He was on a board that looked about 7 foot long and was able to surf through the sections where the wave fills up. Worth checking out, amazing.

Yes.. Pretty sure it's off the shelf.. Also pretty sure it's a 2015 11'4'' Nalu.. Awesome board.
