Hello from Santa Cruz, CA. This is a design we've been working on for a couple of years now. Curious what your take is on it?

Thanks for your post.. Hate to be negative but they do look a little boring to me and there's nothing in the pics or vids that would make me want to buy one.. Also clear length and width measurements on that site would be nice.. and saying that they are " unparalleled in speed and surfing performance " is a bit much in my book.. also " double wings for mind bending re-directs " ? I can't see the double wings in the pics?.. and my experience with stepped rails on a SUP board is they add a lot to the tippyness and so unless you're a light person they need to be wider.. I think they need better vids and better pics.. I'd like to see pics of the bottoms etc.. They look a bit like knee boards in shape to me.. I'd also be interested to hear what others think.. Jeez I 'm glad we don't have kelp like that here..

dj, if you click on the board photos you get a slide show which shows the measurements on the bottom of the board. one i saw was thirty inches.

step rails can be tippy, but at thirty inches wide, a full tail and nose planshape i really wouldn't think it would be tippy.

cheers

Thanks.. I'm using my iPad so it looks like a lot of that site isn't working on it.. If they're 30" wide and that shape they might not be tippy.. It's hard to tell from just the vids and that's all I could see.. What do you think of the shapes?

They remind me of the old McCoy Nuggets (forgive me if the name is not right) they had a convex bottom on them and were really wide and had a square tail on them. I never surfed one but a few of my mates owned them and they went well in small to medium surf.

Interesting where they are going, some similarities to the Twin fin board Kyron Rathbone is riding at Cloud 9 but these are more extreme.

IMO way to much tail area. And too wide. To me this just promotes "slidling and skatieness" .....one thing that makes SUP look bad is going straight down the line then inserting the paddle to slide the tail around. Just MO. I prefer lower rails and narrow tails, either flyer to swallow or just a pin. My current board has a big square tail and im not that much of a fan of it.
