Just winding down form a great day after the SPSC event today at Palmy. Although the waves were not epic, there were really fun. The race event was awesome (as I was on the boat), looked like some painful faces, but I think everyone enjoyed it.

Massive props out to Casso and all the crew for putting on another great event, these events seem to be getting better and better.....

Made the drive down from the Central Coast for the comp today and was made to feel very welcome by everyone there. Just want to say I had a great time, the whole day was run really well, quick, efficiently and the Hotdogs are still repeating on me. Thanks again to Casso, JB and everyone who helped on the day. Went in my 1st race I was the one with the painfull expression that JB was talking about.. See you all in June!!

A huge thanks to JB for organising the support boat for the race, and for the great idea of circumnavigating the Joey in the first place (although I was cursing him at the three-quarter mark, thinking it was a ridiculous idea).

Yep, really, really fantastic day! All of these comps have been so good, we have been blessed with a great day out for every one of them

Thanks again Casso and the family for running the show. And as said already, the race around the headland was epic, really enjoyed it. Props to JB for the plan.

And cheers to DTM for conning me into doing the paddle race on my 10 footer ( and then organising himself an 11'6" gun and leaving me behind!).

I second all the above, I love these clubs days as much for the social aspect as anything. The kids had a ball - how funny was the kids race. Thanks JB for organising the race, sorry I couldn't take part had to get my little bloke to the footy.

Big thanks to Casso and Alison who make the whole thing happen!!!

I forgot to mention the kids race! Hillarious!

Watching kids under 10 years old, most with paddles way too tall for them, and the most unorthodox stances imaginable, paddling straight into a headwind is one the the funniest spectacles you'll ever see!

And the kids all love it!

Thanks again Casso for including the kids in the comp!
