Hi guys,
Just started out on a 12' 6" Starboard a couple of weeks ago.
I'll be in Bali this time next month, any tips on SUPing up there?

hi IAN SUPS in Bali...
just got back from my last trip to Bali and I found out that now there is a place for rental and school.
They are the same guy from Bali Kitesurfing School that in the no wind days are now having fun with SUP, the local guys are very nice and a joy to surf with.
I went with them to few break in Sanur and we had alot of fun. The Tanjung Sari spot near the Grand Bali beach is a spectacle not to be missed.
Even if they just started and have only few boards they already have a web site: www.bali-standuppaddle.org and they even open a surf store in front of the Sanur
Beach Hotel.
Bye Sergio

I own you a Bintan....
Ian, we do have Starboard for rental 12'6 and also 11'2 if you want to try something
more radical.
Hope to see you in Bali

Thanks for the feed back Sergio, I'll have a few Bintans for you whilst I'm there.
Jankie,
I'm staying in Sanur, so I'll be on your door step on the 26th April for either a SUP or a kite if it's windy.
I would like to have a go on something smaller while I'm there, see how I go on the 12'6" first.
So I can plan around other commitments while I'm there. What time of day is it best to catch a wave from the 26th onwards?

Ciao Ian,
early morning is always better then depending from the tide we decide where to go.
Usually we meet around 9am at our store and then we go from there.
You need to drop in the evening before to make reservation.
We have also a complete tide chart in our web site.
See you.
