I am looking for other SUPers in the area. Available pretty much any time during the week.

I have been on the SUP for a couple of months now (mainly flat) and want to get out more in the waves. Any suggestions on which beaches would be the best as well would be great.

Look forward to seeing you out there.

hey BreezyC

not in your neck of the woods, but if you're ever around Manly, give me a shout, i'm still on the flat, although i'm riding pretty choppy stuff recently with all this wind , and wanting to start catching some waves, which will be hilarious, as i've never really surfed

you should come to the windsurf&snow SUP demo that's taking place this coming saturday, 25th. it sounds like there'll be some of the wave rider guys there, so it should be good. details on the event on this post www.seabreeze.com.au/Forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=50230

hey BreezyC,

i reckon Wanda would be a good spot for you too when it's small, nice mellow waves in there and you can always paddle up round the point to for something to do if it's flat

I scoped out places between La Perouse and Bondi yesterday. La Perouse was looking nice and glassy. I thought that it would have even been good to paddle from there over to Kurnell. Malabar was also pretty protected and flat with some tiny waves to the north. Maroubra was way too big for me. There were some waves at Coogee. The further you get around to Bondi the more crowded it gets which would be a bit of a problem when starting on the small waves.

I paddle in the cronulla area and your best bet would be wanda/greenhills for waves on a small day ,your well away from everybody.

I paddle mainly flat water and ocean paddling ,paddled from North Cronulla beach around shark island and into Gymea bay ,also paddle the Bate Bays .

Cheers
