The event happened today and it was fun for everyone. This was the second weekend of the holding period and it had to run this weekend. Handsome Bugga productions decided to make it a go today at Pavilions at Hookipa. There were many age divisions for kids, seniors and women'd divisions. In this El Nina winter the waves were 1-2 feet with some wind. Still there were smiles by everyone and per the contest organizer it was a hit and he looks to bring it back plus add more divisions and contests.

I didn't take pictures because my youngest daughter was sick and I had to carry her around at the contest. There will be pictures on facebook by Jimmie Hepp and other photographers. Maybe some one will post them here. The Open men's division was highly contested. The results were as follows for the Open Men:

2) Zane Schweitzer
3) Noah Yap
4) Connor Baxter
5) Mo Frietas
6) Todd Sera (Hookipa Madman)

Don't remember results in other divisions but lot's of prizes. So next year if you visit Maui maybe you can enter.
