Just had a go at SUP Polo this morning at a demo day. Enjoyed it immensely from the start, much like discovering SUP all over again! Just wondering if there are any opportunities to get into it more in Perth?
A lot of fun and a great way to engage the public. We had 3 things going on at a SUP Vic event on Sunday just gone: The Individual Pursuit, a team time trial where you had to get as close to your nominated time over a given course and SUP Polo. By far, the best engagement we had with the general public was Polo.
Yeah, it's was pretty great being able to try out the huge range of boards available, but there's nothing like being involved in a sport that makes you laugh so much that you have to try and contain yourself to get back in the game.
The Starboard SUP polo set will be on the NSW central coast on the 13th March at Terrigal lagoon for the ESS Board store Demo day!! Polo from 11am for a team and come down for some fun!!! Free sausage BBQ afterwards
