Good race , Jake was quick of the start with travis on his heels , it looked like when they rounded the first bouy Travis opened up a good gap on Jake with Jacko close behind , by the third bouy turn Jacko had taken second from Jake with Travis in an unbeatable lead. Jake and Jacko come in close togeather jacko a little front , Fortunately Jake had longer legs to get through the gully to get him on the run up the beach.
Travis has a great technique, looks very strong when he paddles.

Not a huge turnout , but i think thats because of the $55 entry fee , got some cool stuff in the competetitors bag , but the organizers need to maybee drop the T-shirt and goodies bag and lower the entry fee , would have got a lot more im sure. Any ways thats my only critisicm , the people running the comp looked like they working their bums off , so hats of for that
