Another season is over, and a fantastic combination of races this year. With the inclusion of the SUP-A Vic Open on the Mornington Peninsula, and the Outlaw Paddling Battle of Barwon Heads on the Bellarine Peninsula, and five races along the bayside of Port Phillip at St Kilda, Black Rock, Brighton and Port Melbourne, the 7-race series this year offered more diversity than previous years.

We will be holding a presentation night and end of season social gathering shortly to recognise our winners, but also the achievements of everyone who has posted their own little personal victories.

Anyway, thank you to our series partners, Surfing Victoria, Blast Race Management System, The Zu, PSUPS/Sup-A, Sup-HQ, SHQ, Outlaw Paddling / Peak Adventure, RPS The Boardstore, plus the hard work and commitment of the SUP VIC committee and volunteers from the broader membership. Also shout-outs to Phil Page (Sea Me Surf) and White Caps Photography for their amazing photos, and Shaun Carew for always being on-hand to help with safety.

Rest assured, the Vic Flat Water Series will be back in 2013-14...

So the winners are...

Men's Open 14': Chris Clarke (4860 pts)

Women's Open 12'6": Jean Ringrose Coyne (5000 pts)

Men's Masters 14': Paul Harrington (4440 pts)

Women's Masters 12'6": Kathy Naoumidis (5000 pts)

Men's Seniors 14': Michael Jenkins (3860 pts)

Junior Girls: Kristi Page (5000 pts)

Junior Boys: Jono Kale (5000 pts)

Full results and points tables can be seen at:

Thanks again,

- Tim Patterson & Paul Harrington, Flat Water Series Directors.

Congratulations to Chris, well deserved Vic open champ and in his first season of flat water racing a great effort,
well done to all the other winners too except for PT cause he pinched a Sunny King paddle cover off me a couple of weekends ago.

Thanks Camo, my plan to do every race paid off! We all missed you yesterday, had a cracker of a day for the second weekend in a row.
A big well done to all the crew that paddled through out the Sup Vic Series. Thanks to Sup Vic for running a great summer series, PT, Tim and all the other guys that go down early to set up and do all the official stuff out front and behind the scenes. Also a huge thanks to all the sponsor's of each race.

Cheers

Chris..

I actually didn't even get a paddle cover. Just a drink bottle, and Zeb swiped that. I've got a Sunny King cap with your name on it.

Chris has lots of swag, he might have something spare...but I think it's mostly boards and paddles and stuff so you probably wouldn't want any of that

Nice work Chris - blitzed it. I think it's fair to say at the start of the season there were a few of the old guard looking at each other thinkin' "who's this bloke??" but I reckon now SUP Vic claims you for its own .

and big congrats of course to Jean, PT, MJ, Kathy, Jono & Kristi

Looks like a great series. Lots of familiar names there too. Congratulations to all of you. What a season for Chris. Jean keeps popping up everywhere also. A bit of competition in the Masters and seniors obviously but how do you compete against a guy who goes off to Bali to train?
