Today down at Sandy there was a big free 'come and try' watersports day and SUP Vic were there to help out with SUP lessons.. Heaps of people came down and tryed SUP for their first time.. It was a perfect day and I took some pictures early before things got too crazy.. I also got to check out the new roto moulded 'Imagine' boards.. Very interesting.
I'm going, "Yeah there would've been great waves at Sandy!!" (Point). It took until the third pic before I went "Oh Sandringham!!" Seriously DJ!! I need to take my medication and go for a lie down now.
A BIG THANKYOU to the SUP Vic guys, Dave, Jean, Jonathon Rob and DJ for volunteering their time to teach all the kids today. Without their efforts this event would simply not have been possible. Also thanks to Mike at Sandy Beach HQ for the loan of his 10 SUP school boards and paddles. Great to see so many kids really enjoying Stand Up Paddling!..
