Revvin sent me this link to board bags going cheap on ebay for those interested.

Click here.. cgi.ebay.com.au/New-SUP-Surfboard-Board-Bag-Cover-11-2-Bargain_W0QQitemZ260258303924QQihZ016QQcategoryZ71167QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

and also here.. http://stores.ebay.com.au/Dangerous-When-Wet-Surf-Innovations

Someone out there might be interested..It's often hard to find big board bags because most surf shops don't stock them.

Why bother? Have you checked out the O&E covers straight from your local reputable retailer for $179, maybe less if you are a good bloke? Best SUP covers I have seen and bought from a real shop you can try for size, shape and even return. Whilst I am biased I see this as a no-brainer.

Yep your right, it is a no brainer if you have a surf shop that sells O and E SUP covers close by for that price (or own one), I didnt buy one of these covers, but I did buy off the net from SUPS AUST and it was handy to have it delivered to my door. Not everyone has access to surf shops easily and I thought someone might find this link handy. As DJ obviously did too and posted it before I had a chance to.

Is good to know that good brand SUP covers are available for that price though.

I just picked up an Olympus 790SW on ebay for just under $210 - remember the ad with the dog last year... it's a couple of models up on this one - I loved that ad:

Thanks for the advise guys:

My Olympus 790SW turned up really quick. The problem was that it was yellow and not silver like in the photo. It had scratches all over it and wasn't new despite being advertised as new.

AND it didn't freaking work. Just turned itself off when you put it in photo mode and the shutter doesn't open.

I haven't purchased from ebay for a while because some of the purchases have been quite frustrating experiences. This one takes the cake though. What a hassle.

Dude that sucks big time oliver.
I bought the Olympus 770 off ebay about 11 months ago for about $400.
It was the latest and they retailed at about $600.
Its been the best camera ever being water proof.
Hope you get yours sorted.

You can buy them new now for about $350 from JB HiFi I think.

That's a bugger Oliver..It really stinks...Contact Ebay and see what they can do about it.

I guess they won't be getting very good feedback from you..

You will find that at that price they are only waterproof for 3m.
My wife has one of those and it feels less durable and not as solid construction as the 10m.
Ive dropped mine and even sat on mine.
I take mine surfing and windsurfing often.
I have a neck tie and shove it down the top of my wettie.
A 2gb memory card which holds about 1150 photos of about 1.2mb

I could have been a bit premature.

After soaking it in a bucket then rinsing the lens with running water, I'd just about given up hope when Sebastian got a knife to it and managed to remove a grain of sand from the lens cover.

Anyway at least it works now. Definitely second hand though. Sending it back for a refund is just a hassle - I'll just leave negative feedback. The guy was a power seller at 94% from the sunshine coast who sells cpus, dodgy ram and computer bits. I think my eBay days are over.

94% isn't a good rating. I would say even 98% is not looking good considering how difficult eBay like to make it for you to leave negative feedback and that some people (like me) would rather not leave feedback at all if I'm only mildly annoyed.
