Almost ready for a purchase after a couple of flat water sessions up at Bryon Bay paddling around with the dolphines.

Anyway, I remember some boards could take a windsurfer rig, starboard and naish I think. For a first board i'd like this option as my kids get a bit older we can enjoy more water time together.

Yous guys know which brands still have this option

thanks

Hey Mick,
as well as the Naish and Starboard, the Fanatic range also have provision for a sailboard mastbase.

We've got a pretty comprehensive range, come and check a few out!

Both the Starboard and Fanatic have full nose to tail deckgrip, so it's really kid friendly

Cheers

It would be easy enough to add one to a board also.

DJ had his Naish 12 Glide up and going well (windsurfing) and I recall another guy on here saying his 14 glide is a really fast light wind windsurfer.

I think DJ might have mentioned that the later 12's do not come with the mount, but check it out, or someone else may confirm either way...

Those two boards are flat water orientated but also surfable and bare strong resemblance to some windsurfers.

Yeah I heard the latest Naish 14' Glide has also dispensed with the windsurfer rig. Could be wrong about that.

I did a couple of vids a few weeks ago showing how well the Naish Glides work with a sail.

The new 12 and 14 Glides will not come with a windsurfing mast base insert but there are plenty of current stock that do still have them.

I think the big Naish 11'6".. 11'4" and 10'6" Nalu's will continue to come with the insert.
