Description:
Surfing WA State Longboard Series 2010

Longboarding has a large and passionate following in WA. The general promotion of the sport over time combined with a solid and well organised State and Club structure, has contributed to the consistent increases in its popularity and strong following at State level.
The desire to be the State Longboard champion or to be given the opportunity to represent the State at the National Longboard Titles drives many to compete. Growth of participant numbers in the WA Longboard Series has attracted a collection of the states leading male and female riders, competing at various locations throughout the state.

2010 will see a new event location coupled with a few 'classic' longboard locations all aimed at providing the best opportunities possible for WA longboarders.

Oh and found this from the results of round one that was held in early March.

Stand Up Paddle Board: 1. Brett Mason (Yallingup), 2. Rahn Goddard (City Beach), 3. Peter Dunn (Cottesloe), 4. Brent Moss (Secret Harbour).

In other results from the weeked, WA’s number one rated Stand Up Paddler Boarder (SUP) Brett Mason (Yallingup) continued his winning ways....

Anyone else know that this was running Would have loved to watch or even enter.
