Went for a Downwind run from Gordons Bay to Strand (Western Cape South Africa) Was kind of windy :)

Yep a large blade on your paddle is a must for downwinding!
Do you remember what the windspeed was that day? It looks like a ready steady blow rather than gusts. Thanks for the vid

thanks guys. Was a lot of fun but the 1.5km finish was 45 degrees to the wind and not much fun.

Can't wait for the next one.... :)

wind was 35-55kts and we have a trailer so it is pretty easy and sheltered at the finish (and ice cold beers in a clubhouse!)
