I'm gearing up for a Kaholo 14build.At this stage, I have the plywood, have the internal frames done, have purchased a 10" fin box.

Question; will have a single fin and wondering if a 9" longboard fin will suit? They are cheaper than the 10" SUP Fins. Pros/cons?

I will be using it in open ocean and Moreton Bay for fitness training. i paddle a surfski and love dw conditions so I expect that I Will eventually go down that path as well although I am not interested in racing, i prefer to go fast rather than plonk along.

I currently have these fins on my watchlist

9.5" tunnel fin

10" looks good but pricey.

Reasonably priced 9"
