Very impressive with no hood in zero deg. As annoying as they can be it only takes one wave in 4 deg water to make you appreciate what it does for you. I was surfing on the west coast of Canada in Feb on a nice sunny day so sitting out the back though I would take my hood off for a little bit. Wouldn't you know it a clean up set comes thrugh and there isn't enough time to get my hood back on. One hell of an ice cream headache ensued.
