Jamie Mitchell (the legend) will be in Melbourne next Monday (Feb 23) to run a SUP instructors 'Level One' course if anyone's interested.

It will be run at St Kilda beach from 9am till about 4.30pm.

The cost is $300 and you will receive an Instructors Certificate so you will be a qualified instructor.

It might be a handy thing to have for some... Check with the guys at SHQ if you're interested.

Why do you need a certificate? I didn't need a certificate for my kite instruction but then I think the rules changed.

Dave, don't you just get on and paddle?

Wouldn't you just need insurance?

$300 is pretty steep. I suppose its a whole day though. Who is the certifying authority?
