Hello!

This is the follow up of a nice story “SUP is my NEXT Sport”
www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=49119I’d like to thank everyone for their posts and amazing advice using PM. You, Seabreeze Fanatics

made my board selection and entry in this sport so easy and right! Also, thanks for the Stand Up Paddle Sports/Airborne crew in Ozy Park (Perth) who provided tons of advice when I got the board.
Following the above post 2 weeks ago
1- I saw the spinal surgeon on Monday. I drugged him (as planned

) and he told me that I can SUP

2- I bought roof racks on Tuesday

3- I bought the board on Wednesday

4- I tried the board on Thursday!

Since, I have been too busy SUPing to post any feedback on Seabreeze!!!
I am generally on the water at sunset on weekdays (Floreat/City Beach), and up to twice a day on weekends

. When windy, I SUP in the wind shaded areas of the river…
My highlights so far happened both last Friday – it was a “Good Friday”!!!
- A downwinder between Swannie and Port Beach (wind was northerly!), approximately 10 km long including detours

, with a good friend. An extremely pleasant experience (the friend was female

).
- a full moon SUP on the river, 9 km long, till 11pm, starting at Claremont and paddling downstream and back. This was an A M A Z I N G experience: full moon, no wind, the river was like a mirror: I was breaking the perfect reflection of the moon and clouds each time my paddle was entering the water! I also enjoyed the reflection in the water of a big firework in the distance. It was soooo romantic!

Thanks again and see you on the water!
Fred
