Hello, first post on this forum for me, although regularly visit and read others posts.

Just a quick question to any SUPer's in VIC. I'm moving down to VIC from the Gold Coast for work at the end of this month, and am wondering where I'll be able to get my SUP fix around the Mornington Peninsuala?

I'm not expecting it to be like the Gold Coast, but as long as I can get a few waves every now and then I'll be a happy camper!

Quick search has revealed Pt Leo, Shoreham, and Gunnamatta as some spots worth checking out, but was wondering what swells, tides, wind directions etc. to look out for? and also, what is winter like in general for SUPing these spots? I'm not worried about the cold, I've got a thick wetsuit!

Thanks,
Dave

just drive around, east end of gunna can be good and uncrowded, st andrews as well. You'll be all over it like a bad case of herpes
