It's 5 deg...it's freezing and foggy...Should I go back to sleep or go for a paddle.

I decide do get up and go...Brrrrr...Driving down the windows were fogged...all I could think about was how warm my bed was..and that I must be mad.

I get there and the sky clears...the water is like oil..even more glassy than glass..and I'm so glad I didn't sleep in and miss this..

Here's some pics..sorry to those getting bored with they same old sceanery..and those just into waves pls exit now..It's boring stuff..(but I like it)..

This is just starting off at Middle Park beach.

Looking towards St Kilda pier.

Look Mum..No hands....I sat the camera on the nose with the timmer on..whent to stand up for a different sort of shot..but it keeps falling over.

Looking along St Kilda pier from the other side.

Looking back towards Luna Park.

Heading back out towards the kiosk on the end of the pier.

A few years ago someone burnt this kiost down..and they re built it.

Under the kiost and hoping not to get dripped on.

Relaxing in the warm sun on the other side.

Here's the two regular ducks that are often here..Daisy and Donald.

Time to head back and think about getting ready for work

What a beautiful day...and glad I didn't sleep in.

Cool DJ, I don't mind the flat water stuff, very glassy i've been getting the same stuff here lately but i have to admit there have been a couple of mornings that i have stayed in bed.

How's the serenity!

I love that sort of paddling. We had a stade on our ocean paddle were the wind totally died off and the ocean went smooth, it is such a good feeling, it was about when I almost ran over a 6' Hammer head, bit of excitement for the run!

Hoping to have some nice conditions tomorrow morning.
