Hey all long time reader first time poster... haha my best mate "supbelly" got me into stand up paddle boarding and since then he has taken to it like a crack addiction and like most addicts they don't like sharing their gear :) so I decided I have to get a board. I cant actually buy a board, paddle, bag etc.. at the moment because of money I owe the folks but what I can do is make websites! I'm pretty good so if anyones business would like a website in exchange for a cool setup get in contact with me! you can check out my work here www.thinkcloud.com.au

Sorry if that sounded like an advertisement but it actually isn't.

ps. I know you'll be reading this nice and early in the morning Belly :) can I borrow your board for sat morning theres some swell and i'm going to mandurah to surf while I wait for you too finish work.

Haha im starting to get you hooked and you dont even have a board yet..... Just wait till you get one and you will be a bad as me..

But seriously if anyone is chaseing a new website he is definately worth a look.. Him and is design partner are quite young but very experinanced and professional and have a slightly new aged approch to there web sites..
Which to me means they produce something that stands out a bit from the rest..

Im not just proping because he is my mate but definatly worth a look if your web site needs a revape or wanting to start a new one..

Ps. How did you know id be checking the breeze at 5 in the morning .....its like a morning coffee i cant wake up with out it..

And i spose you can borrow...... 1 .... of my...... 3 .... boards haha
Just gotta somehow fit it in that sedan with no roof racks

Cheers frog! had a couple of responses so I'm very happy. Belly I love the sales pitch however the word "experinanced" got me a little confused... haha I was thinking of just taking your car... with or without you knowing!

Maybe Casso could have APS magazine online instead of paper back..and the site could be updated with the latest stories and pics every month just like the mag ????

Hi Laurie, Just wondering how cosha dmax's post is, i.e. he is a non sponsor advertising a private service? The post looks like blatantly advertising to me. Anybody elses thoughts?

I read the post from dmax as an offer to trade his skill for a sup package and in that context it wasn't an ad to garner a product sale..

cheers,

Sorry "surfydad" I was actually going for the whole "I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine" not the "buy one website get one free" and then I apologized for it sounding like an advertisement.

And I had to put a link to my website there because I had to show you I'm actually pretty good and not a grommet when it comes to this stuff.

Plus I really, really, really want a board...

@Laurie a one of my clients had a website where freelance journos would write articles for them and he would give them $20 if the story checked out. It was a great opportunity for people who had a general interest in the topic but aren't actual journos!!

Nah - lighten up surfdad. I recon it is fine.

I have been dreaming up all sorts of ways to find the cash for my first board. If I could trade a skill (like building websites), I wouldn't be selling my motorbike...

PS: Nobody wants to buy a CX500 cafe racer, do they?

I am all for it. There are plenty of folks that would like to put there business on the forum, just wondering where we draw the line in the sand. Is bartering O.K.?
