Hi,
I am heading over the ditch next Monday for a weeks holiday, just wondering what the SUP situation is in Queenstown? Are there any rentals or demo boards available? Who should I contact?

You will love it down there.
I have heard rumours there is a place set up on the lake front as well as in Wanaka. Unsure of the qualities of the boards etc though sorry.

Try NZ Shred in the main street of QTown. Pretty sure they do rentals

Yeah NZShred got some sup's and there is palace on/near lakefront that has some for hire, but think they are mainly inflatables. Also checkout the Alpine Surf Club on Facebook as this has all the going on's of the local SUP crew. Maybe worth even asking if anyone has a board to borrow as I know a few of the guys have spares.
